Chapter I

About

For over four years I've been building business applications as a full-stack software engineer in Pretoria. These days I work at Intx Insurance Software on a multi-tenant, plugin-based insurance platform built in C#, .NET and Blazor.

I'm at home anywhere in the stack, from MudBlazor interfaces down to Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, and I look after our build pipelines and releases in Azure DevOps. I care about clean, maintainable code, efficient data access, and front ends that are a pleasure to use.

The Sorted Sequoia

A website for a home-organising business in Centurion and Pretoria, built to turn visitors into enquiries. A validated contact form does the work, backed by local-search markup and a palette tested for readability, since many of its clients are older. Plain static pages: no server, and it hosts for free.
